I would like the spaces I create and inhabit to reflect creative inner freedom along with a sense of being held.
Light makes the room. It determines warmth, depth, coziness, cleanliness, the shapes of the shadows.
In setting up the various spaces I've inhabited, whether it was my living-spaces or workspaces, temporary or long-term, finding beautiful lighting is always central to creating a welcoming and creatively inspiring atmosphere.
All our lamps are made from locally sourced wood, we design, carve and finish the pieces in our studio.
Shades feature my original art and photos and are printed locally in the Slocan Valley.
Lamp prices vary depending on design and materials/labour involved.
We have 5 core designs that can also be customized with your choice of printed shade.
Light-boxes: various sizes (price range from $200 - $600)
Our light boxes are part art piece, part atmosphere creator. we mount LED lights in a custom-made frame when illuminated the featured art piece glows, creating a rich, warm light.
The art is also vibrant and beautiful when unlit..
